Enjoy Premium Uber KL Rides now at Taxi-like rates

Uber, your personal driver on demand is now more affordable than ever. From now until further notice, all Uber Black ride fares are reduced by about 20% making it more competitive against the regular budget taxis in KL. There’s no promo code required and it is applicable on all rides for a limited time. If you haven’t download it yet, you can get Uber on Android and iOS devices.

For an easy reference, what used to cost RM22 from Bangsar Baru to SS2 is now RM18 with this new promo offer. Even flat rate fares such as trip to KLIA is cheaper at RM220 from its usual fixed rate of RM270. The Uber Black car rates is much more affordable since it started last year. In KL, Uber has been adding more cars into the system which includes the Toyota Camry, Toyota Alphard, Hyundai Starex, Nissan Teana, Honda Accord, Mercedes Benz E-Class, Audi A6 and even a Jaguar XJL.

With this promo, Uber Black charges RM2.00 for base fare followed by RM0.65/KM AND RM0.30/minute time charge. As comparison, budget taxi charges RM3.00 base fare (inclusive of first 1KM or first 3 minutes) followed by RM0.87/KM OR RM0.30/minute.
