Ahead of its official release in Malaysia the Oppo Find 7 gets its suggested retail pricing revised, the ultra-high-end device will be sold for RM1,898 from the earlier recommended retail price of RM1,998, a reduction of RM100. The new price is closer to its mainland China pricing of 3,498 Yuan which is about RM1,850.

The Oppo Find 7’s claim to fame is its 5.5-inch ultra-sharp Quad HD display (2560×1440 pixels, 538ppi) and the VOOC rapid charging technology that is 400% faster than normal charging.

In terms of performance, you can expect the Find 7 to be a powerhouse with a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM plus 32GB of on board storage. There’s also a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The 13MP rear camera is capable of reprocessing images equivalent to 50MP, more about how this works here.

But before that check out what we think about the Oppo Find 7 here. And if you’re wondering how does the Find 7 stack up against other flagship smartphones, check out our detailed comparison here.

If you are looking for the cheaper alternative, its Oppo Find 7a is now available at RM1,598. The only difference is the display, processor, RAM, on-board storage and battery while the rest of the device including its camera and VOOC charging features are retained.
