The 4G LTE version of the cheap and cheerful Moto G will be going on sale in Malaysia very soon. After appearing on SIRIM’s certification database, Brightstar which is the authorised distributor for Motorola in Malaysia has just updated its Moto G product page with details of its 4G LTE model.
The Moto G with 4G LTE will be available with a single model that comes with 8GB of storage. If you need more, thankfully the new model comes with microSD slot which accepts up to 32GB. The rest of the specs are similar as its dual-SIM non-LTE model which includes a 4.5″ HD 720p display, Quad-Core 1.2GHZ Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM and a combination of 5MP + 1.3MP camera. The only question left is how much would it cost?
Now it appears that the Moto G 4G LTE is going head to head with the recently announced Ninetology U9Z1T which is priced at RM899. The specs are almost identical but the U9Z1T gets a bigger 5″ HD 720p display and a better 13MP main camera. As comparison, the dual-SIM Moto G (3G version) was priced at RM698 (8GB) and RM798 (16GB) during launch and some retailers are currently selling the 16GB version for RM659.
