If you’re looking for an affordable priced smartphone with decent specs, you won’t go wrong with the ASUS ZenFone range and today ASUS Malaysia has announced that the ZenFone 5 with 2GB RAM is now available in stores for RM599. This is RM100 less than what online retailers like Gadget Village and SatuGadgetDotCom are asking for the same device.
First announced at CES, in January, the ZenFone 5 features a 5-inch IPS display pushing a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Powering the device is a dual-core Intel 1.6GHz Atom Z2560 processor with 8GB of on-board storage. Imaging is handled by a 8MP rear camera complete with ASUS’ very own — and rather good — PixelMaster low-light picture enhancement technology. On the front, you get a 2MP unit.
