Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 with 4G LTE certified by SIRIM

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S will be announced globally this coming Friday (13th June) at 7AM (Malaysian Time). Based on what we’ve seen so far, the latest Android tablet will come in 2 sizes – 8.4″ and 10.5″ which will be using AMOLED displays.

If you’re wondering when will the Galaxy Tab S reach Malaysia, it looks like we won’t have to wait too long. The device which carries the model SM-T805 has been certified by SIRIM and this is the 10.5″ model which supports both WiFi and 4G LTE in both 1800/2600MHz bands. Its smaller 8.4″ variant with the SM-T705 model number isn’t listed yet. Samsung could be offering just 1 size in Malaysia similar to its current Galaxy NotePRO 12.2.

The Galaxy Tab S is a high-end tablet which is said to be running on an Octa-Core Exynos processor while the display pushes a ultra-high 2560×1600 pixels resolution. Based on the latest leak, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 will be lighter and thinner than the iPad Air with a thickness of only 6.6mm and weighs just 465 grams.
