Moto X, Moto G and Moto E starts receiving Android 4.4.3 update

The latest Android 4.4.3 KitKat is finally out and Motorola has announced that its Moto X, Moto G and Moto E smart phones are getting it starting this week.

Apart from getting improved stability and fixes, the new update is said to have improved the overall camera performance of the Moto X in terms of exposure and better low light performance for the front camera. For recording videos, both Moto X and Moto G will be getting an additional pause button as well. Also new is Motorola Alert security app, which send periodic messages to selected contacts. The appears to be Motorola’s free alternative to the popular Watch Over Me app.

The update will roll out first for units that are purchased in the US and Brazil. For the rest of the world including Malaysia, it shouldn’t take too long for them to release it here. The cheap and cheerful Moto G is starting to looking outpriced and outspec’ed with the arrival of cheap smart phones in the market. Being a plain vanilla device, owners can still pride themselves of having faster access to the very latest Android versions.
