Oppo outs its R6007 smart phone. Looks like a mini version of its Find 7 with 4G LTE

Looks like the Oppo N1 isn’t the only model getting a “mini” treatment. Their current Find 7 flagship appears to have a “mini” model of its own that’s simply called as the R6007 in China. Retailing at 1,799 Yuan (about RM927), the R6007 is a mid-tier smart phone which maintains similar design cues as the Find 7.

The display is a smaller 4.7″ screen that does 1280×720 pixels resolution. Underneath, it runs on a modest 1.6GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and it accepts microSD cards up to 128GB capacity. The imaging department is also a notch down as well with a f/2.0 8MP main camera and a front facing 2MP unit. Keeping the lights on is a 2,140mAh battery and it overall weighs 128grams with a thickness of only 7.75mm. 4G LTE is supported on the R6007 and it comes with a choice of glossy white and blue colour options.

While this compact device isn’t exactly high-end, the price and hardware makes it appealing for bargain hunters with the need of 4G LTE speeds. For under RM1,000, this is a great alternative to the Moto G 4G LTE edition and even the recently announced Xperia M2. At the moment it is not known if the R6007 will be made available outside of China any time soon.

Check out more images of the R6007 after the break.
