Sony Xperia M2 now available in Malaysia. Mid-spec smart phone with Dual-SIM 3G and Single SIM 4G LTE

If you’re looking for a new mid-spec device, the Sony Xperia M2 has finally arrived with the price tag of RM939. There are 2 variants available – Dual-SIM with 3G HSPA+ or Single-SIM with 4G LTE. It gets a 4.8″ display that pushes qHD resolution (960×540) and underneath is powered with a 1.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage that can be expanded with microSD. It also gets a 8MP rear camera that does Full HD 1080p videos and a front facing VGA camera.

Juicing up the Xperia M2 is a 2,300mAh capacity battery and overall it weighs 148 grams with a thickness of 8.64mm. Like its flagship models, it is available in 3 colours – Black, White and Purple. The specs of the Xperia M2 is quite similar to the Moto G 4G LTE version but it gets a better 8MP camera and a bigger 4.8″ screen albeit with a lower screen resolution.
