Off and on again: DiGi replenishes Mi 3 stock in less than a day with their RM949 contract-less offer

DiGi today has started offering the Xiaomi Mi 3 for just RM949 contract free with just a limited 1,000 units. When it went on sale at 12PM, DiGi claimed that it have sold out in just 59 minutes but without mentioning any figures. Now at 6PM, they have just “restocked” more Mi 3.

The Xiaomi Mi 3 is sold outright at RM889 and with this offer, you are basically paying RM60 more for a prepaid subscription that gives you 12 months of free 250MB mobile internet. If you’re interested, head over to DiGi’s Mi 3 RM949 promo page.

Take note that delivery will only start on 25th June onwards. That’s a month from now and you probably get it quicker direct if Xiaomi runs another round of online orders. If you want to secure a unit without the frustration of fighting for stocks online, this could be a good alternative.
