Xiaomi Malaysia offers 10,400mAh Power Bank for just RM36

On 20th May, Xiaomi Malaysia will start accepting orders for its highly anticipated Mi 3 smart phone but here’s another handy accessory that you won’t want to miss. Its Mi Power Bank that comes with a beautiful aluminium casing and a whooping 10,400mAh battery capacity is also going on sale at only RM36.

According to its Mi Power Bank product page, the battery pack uses Lithium Ion battery from LG and Samsung while safe charging is ensured with Texas Instruments charging chip with 9 layers of protection. This helps to prevent overheating, overloading and possible errors that could damage your devices.

The battery pack comes with a big power button and has 4 indicator lights to show its battery levels. It comes with a single full-sized USB port that pushes 2.1A. This should be sufficient enough to charge most tablets. Charging the battery pack is done via micro USB and it takes 12 hours to charge with a 1A power source or 5.5 hours if a higher 2A charger is used. For RM36, this is one gadget worth buying without worrying about cheap knock-offs with lower than advertised capacities. The Mi Power Bank will be on sale at mi.com/my in Silver colour only.
