Hugo Barra is in Malaysia. Is Xiaomi finally showing us something real this time?

Xiaomi has been teasing on the social space that it has finally arrived in Malaysia but we have yet to see anything significant or product releases from them. Just a while ago, Xiaomi Malaysia has just updated that its VP, Hugo Barra is in town.

Finally we might see something substantial from this anticipated Chinese smart phone brand very soon. Just yesterday Xiaomi had announced that they are organising a special announcement event that’s happening on the 15th of May. This could possibly be their newest Mi3S smart phone that runs on a high-end 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM.

Let’s see what would Xiaomi reveal locally in the coming days. On the local scene, it is likely that Xiaomi might open orders for its affordable Redmi Note or its current high-end Mi3 smart phone.
