Ultra-thin 5.95mm Vivo X3S smart phone spotted in Malaysia

For those who are obsessed with super thin smart phones, the Vivo X3S which boast an incredibly slim 5.95mm thickness has been spotted in Malaysia. Compared to its thinner 5.6mm Vivo X3, the new X3S is slightly thicker and comes with better processor and camera.

Based on Vivo’s official specs, the X3S is running on an Octa-Core 1.7GHz processor from MediaTek that’s mated with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. It also gets a 5″ 720p HD display, a 13MP camera and a front facing 5MP unit. Powering the device is a decent 2,000mAh capacity battery which gives it an overall weight of 153 grams. Out of the box, it is said to be running on Android 4.2 with its custom FunTouch OS.

The Vivo X3S was discovered by GadgetMTech and according to their sources, it will be priced at RM1,399. They also added that Vivo will be setting up their concept store at Low Yat Plaza as well.

This is probably one of the first appearance of Vivo X3S outside of China and it is weird that they have been very quiet without any local presence online. If you know more details of the Vivo X3S, feel free to share them in the comments below. Check out clearer shots of the device after the break.
