The upcoming Galaxy K or formerly rumoured as Galaxy S5 Zoom will be launched next week on 29th April in Singapore. The device which replaces the current Galaxy S4 Zoom has gotten leaked again, revealing its back that houses the retractable optical zoom lens.
The images shows a transparent protective case and the new Galaxy K is seen to feature a combination of faux leather with perforated texture like the Galaxy S5. Earlier it was shown with a very flat lens design when switched off. However the latest images reveal a slight protrusion especially the ring around the lens. The back also appears to be curvy as well so it might feel more comfortable to hold but won’t be ideal to lay flat on the table.
The new Galaxy K is expected to come with a 20MP sensor with 10X Optical Zoom and powering the device is a Hexa-Core processor mated to 2GB of RAM. The display at the back is said to be bigger at 4.8″ that does HD 720p resolution. Out of the box, it should be running on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat and TouchWIZ UI like its current Galaxy S5.
