Uber which provides premium driver on demand transport is running a special UberLUX service just for this weekend. UberLUX is a higher level of service which is a class above the current UberBLACK cars being offered.

This is only available from 6PM to 6AM on 11th-12th April. To request for these upper class rides, make sure you select UberLUX at bottom of the app. To get started, you can download Uber on both Android and iOS smart phones.

Take note that UberLUX rates are higher than the usual UberBLACK. It comes with Base Fare of RM10 and the subsequent fare is calculated at RM2 per minute and RM2.50 per KM travelled. The minimum fare for UberLUX is RM30. As a simple reference, a ride from Bangsar Baru to Jalan Ampang is around RM60-70 while Jalan Ampang to Bukit Bintang ranges around RM30-40. Take note that promo codes with free rides are not applicable for UberLUX.

If you haven’t tried Uber’s service yet, you can redeem 2 Free Rides on UberBLACK cars over here. Take note that this offer is valid until 30th April only, so sign up now with MYSOYACINCAU promo code to redeem. Uber has also recently revised its UberBLACK rates by 35%, making it more affordable than standard taxis after midnight.
