Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo appears quietly in Malaysia

UPDATE: The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo is now listed on Samsung Malaysia’s website.

While the Samsung Galaxy S5 launch was making headlines, Samsung Malaysia has quietly released its Galaxy Note 3 Neo phablet that’s priced at RM1,699. The Galaxy Note 3 Neo is basically a refresh model of last year’s Galaxy Note II that features a faster processor and an updated faux leather back design.

It retains the similar 5.5″ HD Super AMOLED display that does 1280×720 pixels resolution, 8MP rear camera, 2GB of RAM and the same 3,100mAh capacity battery from the Galaxy Note II. The model which we are getting here is the 3G HSPA+ version without LTE and comes with 16GB of storage that can be expanded with microSD card. Powering the device is a newer Hexa-Core processor which is a combination of a Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex A7 & dual-core 1.7 GHz Cortex A15 processor. Since this is a Note device, it comes with its signature S-Pen stylus as well.
