Uber slashes its rates by 35%. Enjoy Premium Transport with lower fares

Getting around town in style is now affordable than before. Uber which offers a premium personal driver-on-demand service, has reduced its rates by 35%, making it closer to normal taxi rates.

The starting fare is now RM3 and subsequently it goes on at RM0.35 per minute and RM1.15 per KM. As comparison, a trip from KLCC to Bangsar that used to cost around RM29-36 is now RM18-25 with the new rate. While a trip from Bukit Bintang to Subang that costs RM60-79 is now reduced to RM42-50.

Apart from great service, you’ll also get to ride on premium vehicles such as a Camry, Teana, Alphard, E-Class or 7 Series that’s driven by courteous and friendly drivers. If you need a ride home after midnight, you get to enjoy the same rate which makes it cheaper than the usual Taxi service that attracts a midnight surcharge.

If you haven’t tried Uber yet, you can enjoy the first 2 Rides FREE with our special promo for first time users. To get started, you can download the app which is available on Android and iOS.
