Oppo Find 7 launching today. Stay tune for updates

UPDATE: Oppo Find 7 officially launched. Low end model on sale tomorrow in China.

We are at Beijing today for Oppo’s latest Find 7 smart phone announcement. If Oppo is still rather unfamiliar to you, they are an emerging Chinese smart phone maker that has a potential to give big smart phone players some serious competition. They are among the first to release a super slim Full HD smart phone with their Oppo Find 5 and most recently they have entered Malaysian market with a rather unique N1 smartphone that comes with a rotating 13MP camera.

From the bits and pieces we’ve seen so far, the upcoming Oppo Find 7 is set to come with a high-end 5.5″ 2K display that does 2560×1440 pixels resolution and runs on a faster 2.46GHz Quad-Core processor with 3GB of RAM. 4G LTE and a superior camera that’s capable of taking 50MP pictures is said to be included as well.

A slightly lower end model will be announced as well which comes a lower Full HD display resolution and a 2.26GHz Quad-Core processor with 2GB of RAM. Overall it does look promising and probably has what it takes to go against the latest Galaxy S5, the All new HTC One and Xperia Z2.

The event is happening this afternoon at 2.30PM so do follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest updates.
