Sony Xperia Z1 Compact Going on Sale next week

The Sony Xperia Z1 Compact will be available in Malaysia next week as announced by their authorised reseller IMCC. The compact Android Smart Phone is listed at RM1,799 and comes with rather high-spec credentials despite its smaller size. While it is priced slightly higher than the earlier listed AP set units, the original units come with Sony’s official warranty for greater peace of mind.

Compared with its bigger Xperia Z1 sibling, the Xperia Z1 compact is rather identical with a high-end 2.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM, 20.7MP Main Camera and comes protected with water and dust resistance rated at IP58. The only difference is the display which is a downsized 4.3-incher with HD 720p resolution and a smaller capacity battery at 2,300mAh. You’ll also get a 16GB on-board storage, expandable microSD slot and 4G LTE connectivity as standard.

Apart from the Xperia Z1 Compact, Sony will be bringing in more smart phones in the month of April. This includes the mid-tier Xperia M2 and Xperia T2 Ultra as well as the flagship Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet.
