HTC Announce Two New Devices at MWC

Fresh from Mobile World Congress 2014, HTC announced two new mid-range smartphones scheduled to be released in the second quarter this year — the Desire 816 and the Desire 610

Featuring an iconic design language similar to the HTC One, the Desire 816 brings with it a 5.5-inch 720p HD display, a 2,800mAh battery, HTC’s trademark dual-front speakers with BoomSound, a 13MP rear camera as well as a 5MP front camera, both with BSI sensors and are capable of shooting 1080p videos. The device is powered by a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM.

The Desire 610 on the other hand features a 4.7-inch qHD (960×540) display, a 2,040Mah battery, a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. There’s an 8MP BSI rear camera with 1080p video capability and a 1.3MP front camera capable of shooting 720p videos.

Both devices feature 4G LTE connectivity, 8GB of on-board storage and microSD expansion (up to 128GB).

Both The HTC Desire 816 and Desire 810 will be released in April and are expected to arrive in Malaysia by May this year.
