Hands-On: Samsung Galaxy S5

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is more than just an incremental upgrade in hardware. It introduces a couple of new additions such as a fingerprint scanner and a heart rate sensor.

On the software side, there’s a new Download Booster for faster downloads using both WiFi and 4G LTE connections at the same time. If you afraid to have your smart phone contents being viewed by your kids or strangers, the Galaxy S5 now comes with Kids Mode and Private Mode. The 16MP camera is further enhanced with new features such as Real-time HDR and a rather neat Selective Focus, which has a simpler execution than Nokia’s Refocus app.
