Latest Video Suggests New Features in the Upcoming Galaxy S5

It’s going to be a crazy week at Mobile World Congress 2014 next week and Samsung is looking to be the most prominent brand there with the launch of the Galaxy S5. Details of the device have been trickling in since a couple of weeks back and this latest teaser is telling us that aside from the rumoured premium and basic versions, the 2k display and expected new software features, Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone could also be waterproof (or at least water resistant) and come with a slow-mo camera mode not unlike what you get with the iPhone 5S.

If this is indeed true then the Galaxy S5 along with the Note 4 will be tough acts for other operators to follow this year. Head on over to after the jump to view the video and let us know what you think.

In any case, we are already in Barcelona and will be at the Samsung Unpacked 5 event to give you the latest news about the Galaxy S5 launch as it happens so stay with us right and on Facebook and Twitter for the latest. Also, if you’re wondering, the Unpacked 5 event is happening Tuesday Feb 25, at 3am Malaysian time. Samsung will be live streaming the event as well, you can watch it here.
