Nokia X gets leaked in detailed hands-on photos

While Nokia is busy teasing its upcoming “Normandy” Android powered device with green ducks, someone in China has gotten their hands on the purported Nokia X ahead of its launch. Earlier on we had a fair share of leaked product shots but now we are looking at leaked pictures of the real thing.

In terms of design, it looks rather similar with their current budget Nokia Asha 500 or Asha 501. Even the side buttons looked the same and so is its chunky box design. While it is running Android inside, the interface looks anything but an Android. Somehow it appears to be like a cross-mix between Windows Phone and its out-going Symbian based Ashas.

To recap on the speccs, the Nokia X is said to come with a modest 4″ display that does 800×480 pixels resolution and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. Being an Asha replacement, it will also come with dual-SIM variant which is shown with 2 SIM icons above. Apart from its drastic UI, the Nokia X won’t be having the typical Google Play Store but instead will be featuring their own Nokia Appstore with its own selection of apps. Like its youthful range of Asha products, the Nokia X will come in a wide array of colours.

Head after the break for additional shots of the Nokia X.
