The Affordable Android: Acer Liquid Z3s Goes on Sale in Malaysia for Less Than RM300

Acer Malaysia today announced the availability of the Acer Liquid Z3s, a dual-core Android smartphone that’s priced just under RM300. Obviously with the Z3s being priced so low, affordability is the device’s most outstanding feature so expect hardware specs to be modest to say the least.

The Acer Z3s features a 3.5-inch HVGA (320×480) display, a 5MP camera, dual-core 1Ghz processor with 512MB RAM, Android 4.2.2 and a 1,500mAh battery. There’s Bluetooth and 3G as well, and it comes with the Acer Active Flip cover that allows user quick access to the home screen when the cover is flipped open and automatically turns off the screen when the cover is closed.

Beyond the basic specs Acer has included some interesting software enhancement with the Z3s like Acer Quick Modes with different UI that works to suit different users – Basic Mode, Senior Mode, Classic Mode and Keypad Mode.

The Acer Liquid Z3s retails for RM299 and is available for for pre-order from storekini.com.
