Out of the box, it runs on the latest Android 4.4.2 and you’ll notice that the settings interface is similar to the new icons we’ve seen in the purported Galaxy S5 leaked UI. Samsung is calling this a progressive tablet as which is focused for productivity. Among some of the key features is a Quad Multi-Window view where you can have 4 apps showing at the same time.
In terms of accessories for the NotePRO 12.2, there’s a bluetooth keyboard dock which is tentatively priced at RM399. The keyword also doubles up as a protective case where you can stow the tablet facing downwards. It is charged using microUSB 3.0 which is the same cable used for charging the tablet. For those that prefers the comfort of a mouse, there’s also a Samsung S-Action mouse which is specially designed to navigate around the Galaxy NotePRO’s interface. Pricing for the mouse is yet to be confirmed at the moment.
