Sony to launch something on 5th March. Possibly Xperia Z1 compact or upcoming flagship device

Sony Mobile has sent out an invite for its regional upcoming event that’s happening in Jakarta on the 5th of March. The invite didn’t reveal much but it is a possibility that Sony is launching its Xperia Z1 compact smart phone.

Since this happens about a week after MWC 2014, the media event could be a South East Asian launch of its upcoming Sirius flagship, rumoured to be called as the Xperia Z2. For the upcoming MWC 2014, Sony is said to be having a global announcement on the 24th February where a new flagship and possibly a new entry level device could be revealed. We’ll find out soon enough in 3 weeks time.
