SanDisk offers Ultra dual USB drive for both smart phones and desktops

For smart phones that doesn’t come with expandable storage, a USB OTG (On The Go) cable is your best alternative to transfer files or simply to access additional storage. Now SanDisk has recognised the need for mobile storage and they have introduced its new Ultra dual USB thumb drive which comes with both USB and micro USB heads.

It is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage capacities and should be compatible with most Android smart phones with USB OTG support. To help organise your files, SanDisk also has a MemoryZone mobile app to make file transfer and backups easier. You can check out the promo video after the break.

This isn’t the first of its kind as Sony announced a similar product a few months back. Unfortunately Sony isn’t offering it locally at the moment.

If you’re looking for something like this right now, a quick check on lelong reveals a couple of micro USB thumb drives being sold from as low as RM55.

Head over to SanDisk’s Ultra dual USB drive product page for more info.
