This is not the droid you’re looking for: Nokia’s next new device will be a Windows Phone

Ooo…what do we have here? It’s a 15 second teaser from Nokia USA. What could it be? Naturally the internet machine is awash with speculation and guesses about what Nokia is alluding to but what is certain — Nokia’s next new device will not run Android.

Instead popular speculation suggests that the device will be the rumoured Nokia Icon, which is said to be a US-only model when it is launch. The Icon packs the same internals as the Lumia 1520 which means a full HD 1080p display, a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of on board storage and a 20MP PureView camera, the only difference is that the Icon will have a smaller 5-inch screen instead of the 6-incher on the 1520.

So for those of you who are waiting for Nokia to make a phone that runs on Android, it looks like the wait is not over just yet.
