Pebble Smart Watch Appstore now available for iOS. Coming soon to Android

Discovering new apps and watch faces for the Pebble Smart Watch is now easier with the arrival of its official Appstore. It features more than 1,000 apps and watch faces which can be downloaded easily in a rather intuitive interface. The apps cover a wide selection including fitness, remote controls, games, notifications, utilities and daily use categories.

For now, the Pebble appstore is only available on iOS and it upgrades the Pebble Smart Watch to the latest version 2.0 APK firmware. In total, the Pebble has 8 slots for apps and you would need to remove some once you’ve hit the limit. There’s also a locker to keep favourite uninstalled apps so that you can download again easily when you need them. Those who are new to the appstore would need to register themselves a new login.

The appstore for Android users will be released much later. If you can’t wait, you can download the developer Beta (APK file) which is available here.
