Purported LG G Pro 2 photos leaked ahead of launch

The LG Optimus G Pro is Samsung’s direct rival for their Galaxy Note II. Now LG is releasing its phablet successor that’s called the LG G Pro 2. From the leaked photos, the G Pro 2 follows the similar design as its current LG G2 flagship and over at the back, it features the same rocker buttons that’s placed below the main camera.

In terms of specification, the LG G Pro 2 is said to be packing a 6″ Full HD display and runs on the current quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. This looks like a worthy opponent for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 but the question is how long would LG take to bring in their devices to Malaysia? All we know is that the G Pro 2 is likely to be announced at MWC 2014 that’s happening end of next month.

Its earlier Optimus G Pro was pretty decent device packing a Full HD 5.5″ display that’s higher resolution than the Galaxy Note II. Not only that, the Optimus G Pro packs a higher 13MP camera, IR Port, larger 3,140mAh capacity battery and even 4G LTE support. It was released much later in Malaysia at RM1,888, after 5 months since it was announced globally. You can check out our hands-on of the LG Optimus G Pro here.

Head after the break for another shot of the LG G Pro 2.
