Its current Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra phablet have received the update in December, while its early 2013 flagship models such as the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z have “>received theirs a week later.
As for the latest Android 4.4 KitKat, Sony has indicated that they will be rolling out to Xperia Z and other newer high-end models. So far they have yet to provide any indicative timing on KitKat roll out yet and hopefully they will get this out before a newer Android version is announced.
