Apart from SenQ, you can get your hands on the iPad Air in Malaysia through local Apple retailers such as Machines, Switch & MacCity. All 3 retailers have hinted that the iPad Air will be available in-stores starting from today.
Just a couple of hours ago, Maxis has revealed its bundled pricing from as low as RM1,449 for the 16GB WiFi+Celluar model. Outright it is priced at RM2,049 for its base 16GB storage option which is RM150 more than last year’s iPad.
The new iPad Air is a total redesign from its previous 3rd & 4th generation iPads. While maintaining its 9.7″ Retina Display, the new model is 20% thinner at 7.5mm and 28% lighter with just 469 grams of weight. Internally it runs on their top notch A7 chip and M7 co-processor that’s also powering its flagship iPhone 5S.
