Maxis teases iPad Air & iPad Mini with Retina Display are coming soon

UPDATE: iPad Air officially lands in Malaysia. It is bundled from RM2,049 for 16GB WiFi + Cellular version.

It looks like the big 3 telcos in Malaysia will be offering the new iPad Air & 2nd gen iPad mini pretty soon. Maxis today has started teasing that they will be offering both iPads on their network right after DiGi & Celcom started their Registration of Interest exercise.

If they follow the same trend as before, it is likely that Maxis will be bundling the iPad Air & iPad mini with their data only SurfMore plans. For those planning to use their iPads while on the go, Maxis currently offers one of the widest 4G LTE coverage which is seen to be expanding quite rapidly in the Klang Valley.

Maxis iPad Air & iPad Mini pages are up but lacks the pricing and plan options for now. The official release of the new iPads have yet to be announced and it could be happening in the coming weeks ahead of Christmas.
