Upcoming LG based Nexus 10 (2014) gets leaked. Possibly launching soon

The current Nexus 10 which is developed by Samsung is expected to be replaced soon with a new Nexus 10 2014 edition that runs on with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. Surprisingly LG is said to be manufacturer of the newer model and its images and specs have been leaked ahead of imminent launch.

The surfaced details reveal that the new Nexus 10 will come with a 10″ IPS display that does 2560×1600 which pushes the same pixel density of last year’s 300 ppi (pixels per inch). Powering the device is the latest 2.3GHz Snapdragon processor and comes with 3GB of RAM, making this a direct rival to the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014).

From Tesco UK Nexus 10 product page brief appearance, the new tablet is listed as having a 10MP rear camera and 4MP front camera. The numbers are rather odd and do note that this could be unconfirmed specs details prior to release. Even its purported 200mm width and 117mm height is questionable as it is similar to its smaller Nexus 7 dimensions.

The current Nexus 10 isn’t really a popular device and it wasn’t launched officially in Malaysia. Some online retailers such as IPmart have been doing grey-imports for the tablet and now they are doing a clearance sale at RM1,099 for its 16GB WiFi version. It retains the same high resolution 2560×1600 10″ display but it is powered with a dual-core 1.7GHz Exynos 5250 processor and 2GB of RAM.
