When it comes to 4G smart phones, it is normally the high end models that supports it. Recently we’ve seen mid-tier devices being released with 4G LTE support such as the Nokia Lumia 625 and BlackBerry Q5. To bring the 4G experience out to the masses, here comes the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3. Priced at RM799, the Galaxy Ace 3 is probably the most affordable Android smart phone with 4G LTE support and it is also offered on contract with Maxis from as low as RM299.
In terms of specs, the Galaxy Ace 3 comes with a modest 4″ TFT display that does a WVGA resolution of 800×400. On board it has a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. There’s expandable microSD slot, 5MP main camera, 0.3MP front facing camera and even NFC.
Feature wise, it also gets Sound & Shot, S Translator, Smart Stay and S Voice that’s found on its higher end models. Juicing up the device is a 1,800mAh capacity battery and overall it weighs a decent 119.8 grams. Out of the box, it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
