LG G Flex Flexes Its Curved-Screen Muscle in Latest Leak

Thanks to Argentinian TV station Telefe, we now have the first hand-on look at the G Flex, LG’s latest yet-to-be-announced that features a pronouncedly curved 6-inch OLED display. Like LG’s current flagship smartphone, the G2, the G Flex, is seen with rear-mounted buttons and is said to feature the same 13 megapixel rear camera as well. You can also expect the same internal hardware as the G2 with a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM.

Little else is known about the still unannounced G Flex but the source says that a launch is close starting with South Korea as early as next month but other than that it is not known if the device will be available elsewhere. If you want to see more of the G Flex, check out the hand-on video right after the jump

In any case, we’re not sure if curved screen devices provide any real tangible performance or practical benefit other than looking cool. And is it just us or does the G Flex remind you of the Galaxy Nexus?
