Sony Xperia Z1 from as low as RM1,199 on Maxis contract

The water and dust resistant Sony Xperia Z1 is now offered on Maxis with its postpaid contract plans. Retailing at RM2,399 outright, the Xperia Z1 can be yours from as low as RM1,199 on its TalkMore78 + 3GB postpaid bundle for 24 months duration. Not to be intimidated by Celcom‘s sheer number of plan options, Maxis offers 14 variation of contracts to choose from.

During sign up, Maxis would require an upfront advance payment of RM250 for 12 months contract and RM500 for 24 months contract. The advance fee will be credited back to your bill across 5 months.

To recap on the specs, the Xperia Z1 features a Full HD 5″ display with top rated 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage which is expandable via microSD. It comes with a 20.7MP camera with a bigger 1/2.3″ sensor that’s coupled with Sony’s G Lens. The Xperia Z1 also supports 4G LTE and it is juiced up with a rather large 3,000mAh battery.
