New iPad and iPad mini expected to be announced in upcoming October 22 event

The next iteration of iPads are expected to be announced 2 weeks from now on 22nd October. What’s new is a 5th generation 9.7″ iPad and a 2nd generation iPad mini which is likely to come with Retina Display.

From the stream of leaks on the new tablets, the new full sized iPad is expected to be as thin as the current iPad mini and probably offered in the same colour scheme as the new iPhone 5S.

Internally, hardware is definitely given a bump and rumour has it that Apple might including the Touch ID into the new devices. The Apple event will also reveal a couple of new Macs as well. All shall be revealed in 2 weeks from now.
