LG has unleashed its 3rd iteration of its 4:3 display ratio phablet with the LG Vu 3. Just as teased earlier, the Vu 3 comes with a slight bump in display size to 5.2″ and does a modest resolution of 1280×960. With most devices going Full HD, it is a pity that the resolution is a notch below its current LG Optimus G Pro and today’s flagship devices. The Vu comes with a rather unique squarish design thanks its 4:3 display aspect ratio as opposed to the standard 16:9 rectangular display.
Powering the device is a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and its stylus now comes with a dedicated silo to stow it away, unlike its previous models. The LG Vu 3 also comes with a 13MP shooter and support for high speed 4G LTE-Advance. It is expected to go on sale in Korea on 27th September and so far there’s no word on its international availability.
Head after the break for a clearer image of the Vu 3.
