Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch priced at RM999, limited complimentary units to be given out

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Malaysian launch is happening this Friday. While DiGi is about to commence its Galaxy Note 3 pre-order from its online store tomorrow, they have finally revealed the Galaxy Gear Smart Watch pricing at RM999. As a special pre-order promo, the Galaxy Gear will be bundled for free for those who subscribe their highest DG Smart Plan 148 (likely to be with 24 months contract) while stocks last. The pre-order will commence at 12:00PM tomorrow on 18th September and it comes with free delivery. If you prefer to collect it yourself, DiGi would also allow self collection at selected 11 DiGi branches nationwide.

If you don’t plan to get it via DiGi, Samsung Malaysia has also indicated that they will be giving out complimentary Galaxy Gear with purchase of its Galaxy Note 3. More details of this Galaxy Gear giveaway will be revealed tomorrow as well on their special Note 3 microsite.

To recap, the Galaxy Note 3 features a larger 5.7″ Full HD display and it is powered with a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The version which DiGi has indicated is the 4G LTE variant and it will be available in Jet Black and Classic White colours. In terms of pricing, couple of online retailers have listed the Note 3 at RM2,299 which is similar to earlier Note launch prices.
