Sony Xperia Z1 official press photos revealed ahead of launch

With just few days from IFA, Sony’s upcoming flagship “Honami” which is to be named Xperia Z1 is now revealed in official press pics ahead of launch. From the clear shots, it retains the similar omni-balance design seen on the Xperia Z and Z Ultra. However this time around, the Z1 appears to have a different 2 tone colour treatment as seen on the sides. Maintaining the same water and dust resistant capabilities, there’s the usual usage of flaps on all ports with exception to the headphone jack which is a good thing for headphone users. Taking photos and videos underwater won’t be an issue with the presence of a dedicated camera button the Xperia Z1.

To recap on the specs, the Xperia Z1 is expected to come with a 5″ Full HD Triluminous display and runs on Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 processor similar to the 6.44″ Xperia Z Ultra. The biggest highlight is its imaging capabilities with a 20.7MP 1/2.3″ shooter and Sony’s top of the line G-Lens.

More high res photos after the break.
