Sony Releases Teaser Video of New Xperia and It’s Sexy

This is the latest teaser from Sony and whatever they are doing, they’re doing it right. We have not been excited about an Xperia device for a long while and the series of teasers that Sony has released have gotten us more than curious. We’re really looking forward to September 5 when Sony will be revealing, possibly, its best Xperia smartphone yet.

The video is only 30 seconds long but its confirms a number of rumours. There is a dedicated camera button so you can expect a fast sleep-to-snap time. As with the previous picture, the G lens is confirmed. The device is going to be water-resistant as well. Beyond that, you also get a glimpse of a microSD card slot and a large speaker aperture at the bottom of the device suggesting that the device will pack some audio punch as well.

In its tweet revealing the video, Sony seems to also suggest the name of the device. As far as we can interpret the new Xperia is very likely to have the number “1” in its name, possibly to be called the “Xperia Z1”.

Did we miss anything else? Take a look at the video and let us know.

We’re about a week away from the official unveil on September 5. That means there’s still a few more days for Sony to release more stuff. We’re hoping the next tease will give us some clues on the lens camera as well.
