The upcoming Sony Honami which is Sony’s answer to the super camera phones from Nokia & Samsung has surfaced again in clear photos. This time around it is the white model and it is also shot in comparison with the iPhone 5. The Honami is expected to feature a 5″ Full HD display like the Xperia Z and runs on a more powerful Quadcore Snapdragon 800 processor which is found on the latest 6.44″ Xperia Z Ultra.
Targeted as a photography focused phone, the Honami packs a larger 20.7MP camera with a 1/2.3″ sensor size and G Lens which is indicated at the back of the device. Unfortunately it still uses LED flash instead of a Xenon Flash that’s found on the Lumia 1020 and S4 Zoom. In terms of design, it maintains the similar omni balance design and from the photos it does looks somewhat thicker than the Xperia Z.
In the other hand, for those who are looking for better photography regardless of smart phone specs, Sony is expected to release a bolt on QX10 & QX100 lens camera at IFA next month.
