HTC releases teaser of something big coming soon

HTC has just released a mysterious teaser on Vine and Instagram late last night that doesn’t reveal much. The only clue worth noting is the title “Big Things Ahead”. Is this the upcoming HTC One Max with a screen bigger than 5″?

So far there’s no countdown or a launch date but from the looks of it, it should be pretty soon. Details of the upcoming large screen device is pretty sketchy with rumours of it having a 5.9″ display and running on a rather high end Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz.

In the large screen segment, the upcoming Galaxy Note 3 shall face more competition in the category. Apart from HTC, Sony has already unleashed the Xperia Z Ultra that’s already available here at RM2,299. Not forgetting the Chinese brands such as Huawei and ZTE that has been going big on screen size as well.

What seems to be a joke of having to use a large screen device as a phone has now gone mainstream. For us, all that matters is the usability with a single hand.
