The little brother of the HTC One has gone official as the HTC One mini. Maintaining the same aluminium clad profile, the HTC One mini maintains the same thickness of 9.3mm as its flagship model but shaves 5mm its from its width. Just as speculated earlier, the One mini comes with a more single-handed friendly 4.3″ Super LCD2 display which delivers a resolution of 1280×720. This gives a pixel density of 342ppi which is rather decent.

Powering the HTC One mini is a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.4GHz with 1GB of RAM. Storage wise it comes with 16GB on-board and like its bigger brother, it lacks expandable microSD storage. Juicing up the HTC One mini, is a smaller 1,800mAh battery which is non-removable. Another missing item from the One mini is the IR blaster which acts as a universal remote control.

In terms of imaging, it uses the same Ultrapixel camera as the HTC One which does 4MP while over at the front, you’ll get a 1.6MP camera that does 720p videos. For audio, it retains the awesome dual-front facing boom sound speakers which is also found on the new HTC Butterfly S and HTC Desire 600. Connectivity wise, it is good to know that the HTC One mini also supports 4G LTE at 1800MHz/2600MHz bands.

The HTC One mini will be available in both Silver & Black colours with roll-out to begin globally sometime in September. For more information, head over to HTC One mini‘s product page.

Head after the break for more official photos and video.
