If you’re looking for alternatives, Lenovo has finally launched its Ideaphone K900 smart phone in Malaysia with the price tag of RM1,699. The sleek looking device boasts a super slim profile of just 6.9mm and comes in a premium unibody design made of stainless steel and polycarbonate.
The Ideaphone K900 runs on a dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 processor clocked at 2GHz that’s mated with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. At the front, the K900 comes with a 5.5″ IPS display that does a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 and it is further toughen with Gorilla Glass 2. Over at the back, surprisingly it comes with a Sony 13MP shooter with Exmor BSI sensor that’s found on the current Xperia Z. To take photography up a notch, the camera comes with a f/1.8 focal length, which is one of the widest in smart phones at the moment. It would be interesting to see how Lenovo’s camera performance fares against Sony’s very own Xperia Z under low light situations. For video calls, there’s also a front facing 2MP shooter.
Juicing up the device is a generous 2,500mAh battery and it runs on recent Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. For only RM1,699, the K900 is seriously offering a lot of flagship features at couple of hundred ringgit less than its flagship rivals.
