HTC M4 – Mid-spec One with similar unibody design leaked

Following the release of its HTC One flagship model codenamed M7, they are now preparing to launch more models for the mid-range and entry level segment. The M4 pictured above is the alleged mid-range model which carries similar design and features but with its specification a notch lower.

The display would obviously be smaller with a more sensible 4.3″ display that pushes a respectable 720″ HD resolution at 342ppi. In terms of CPU, it runs on a dual-core processor but is mated with a generous 2GB of RAM which makes it no slouch.

There’s no word on the speakers but hopefully it also comes with a pair of front facing units like the ones found on its flagship model. Also included is its Ultrapixels camera but there’s no word on its pixel count. Since it is a mid-spec device, the battery capacity is a notch lower as well at 1,700mAh which is 600mAh less than the HTC One.

There’s no exact dates of availability but it is expected to be launched by middle of this year with LTE compatibility. It will be interesting to see how HTC would name this model since the flagship is simply “One” without any additional letters at the back.
