No, its not the Galaxy S 4 or the HTC One. Those phones pale in comparison to the RM33,150 Vertu Ti.
The Vertu Ti is the luxury brand’s latest and greatest flagship phone. Handmade in Britain, the Ti features a chassis made out one of titanium, a 3.7-inch display finished in scratch resistant sapphire and a sound reproduction quality tuned to perfection by Bang & Olufsen.
Beyond the luxurious materials, the Ti is very much an average smartphone on the inside running Android 4.0 and powered by a dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with expandable memory via microSD up to 32GB. There’s also an 8MP rear camera that does 1080p videos and a 1.3MP front camera to make sure you look snazzy for that fancy dinner and NFC support. Also, the rather small 3.7-inch display only packs 800×480 pixels with a pixel density of just 252 PPI — paltry by today’s 1080p display standards.
For those who have more money than they bother to care about, you’ll be happy to know that the Vertu Ti is coming to Malaysia in April.
By the way, the RM33,150 estimated asking price is for the base model. A fully pimped out Vertu Ti with a chassis made out of a mixture of PVD black titanium and red gold with polished ceramic accents and black leather could set you back a cool RM67,250. Nice.
Just don’t ask us when we’re going to review this one.
