Sony Xperia V now available at RM1,599

If you can’t wait to get your hands on the Sony Xperia Z, you could consider the Sony Xperia V which is now available in Malaysia with the retail price tag of RM1,599. Just like the new flagship, the Xperia V also comes with water and dust resistant credentials with IP55/57 rating.

To recap on the specs, the Xperia V runs on dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of on board storage which is expandable via microSD. Over at the front, it comes with a 4.3″ scratch resistant TFT display that does 1280×720 pixels resolution that’s further enhanced with Mobile Bravia Engine 2. In the imaging department, it has a 13MP camera and a front facing VGA shooter. The Xperia V features the iconic arc design having a thickness of 10.7mm and it weighs 120g.

For those curious about LTE support, the Xperia V is LTE Band 7 (2600MHz) compatible which is being used by our telcos.
