Maxis iPad mini & 4th gen iPad with Retina Display plans revealed

UPDATE 2: The iPad mini and iPad 4 are finally back on Maxis from as low as RM899. More details here.

UPDATE: Looks like the new iPad plans are not yet released. We’ll keep an eye for any latest developments.

Apart from DiGi, Maxis too is offering the iPad mini & 4th generation iPad with Retina Display for bundling. Unlike DiGi’s offering of cheaper monthly data subscription with no discounts on the device, Maxis is taking the opposite route.

The iPad mini (WiFi + Cellular) can be yours as low as RM559 contract while the full sized 4th gen iPad (WiFi + Cellular) as low as RM999 on contract. Full bundling price as follows:

All contracts are tied with 24 months contract and there’s an upfront payment between RM300 – RM800 required depending on the plan you take. The advance payment will go back to your monthly bill across 5 months period.

If you’re interested, this bundling offer is only available at KLCC Maxis Centre, which is quite a bummer for those staying outside the Klang Valley.
