U Mobile offers HTC Windows Phone 8X on contract

If you’re eyeing for HTC’s Windows Phone 8X, U Mobile now offers the device on contract from as low as RM1,059. Retailing at RM1,799, the 8X is bundled on U28 (1GB), U58 (2GB) and U88 (3GB) with 24 months contract.

During sign up, there’s an upfront payment between RM84-RM528 depending on which plan you’re taking. From U Mobile’s website, only Blue colour is being offered currently. Head over to U Mobile’s 8X page for more details on the bundling.

If you’re looking for one without contract, local retailer IPMart is offering the black colour Windows Phone 8X for as low as RM1,599. According to the product description, this is the official stock with 1 year HTC Warranty.

To recap on the specs, the HTC Windows Phone 8X runs on a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 processor, 1GB of RAM with a 4.3″ Super LCD2 screen that pushes 1280×720 pixels resolution. On-board, it has 16GB of storage and a 1,800mAh battery which is non-removable. There’s a 8MP camera at the back and a front facing 2.1MP camera.
